North Market

Today we ventured out to north market and did some sketching around lunch!
Because a lot of people were sitting to eat, we were given an opportunity to exaggerate 
the figures to make them more interesting.  It's important to breathe life and tell a story
with each sketch.  

Each session we aim to draw around 50 poses, here is my work:




 
 Towards the end, I started caricaturing my subjects; something I'd like to explore more of in future sessions.

100,000 Bad Drawings

“All of you have one hundred thousand bad drawings in you. The sooner you get rid of them, the better it will be for everyone.” ― Chuck Jones

This quote has been discussed in several classes this week, and I believe it rings true. 
With one hundred thousand bad drawings, you learn from one hundred thousand mistakes.
